SUNDAYS AT 10:30 AM
Children’s Ministry at PAC seeks to partner with parents in raising fully devoted followers of Christ through sound Biblical teaching, excellent leadership, and genuine relationships. While we believe what we do on Sunday mornings is important, we also realize that our time with children is limited to one or two hours each week. Our desire is that when we partner with parents, providing them with resources and materials to build on what happens here at church, we are having the greatest possible impact in the lives of children than any one influence can alone.
We are using The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum, which is a three-year chronological, Christ-centered study of the Bible. It is designed to walk participants of all ages through Scripture in order to understand how all Scripture testifies to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
PAC Kids consists of three different areas of ministry:
PACKAcres (0-2 yrs.) is available during the worship service. Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for by our volunteers, playing and singing about God’s love for them.
PACKTown (3-5 yrs.) meets during the worship service. Our preschoolers have a time of worship and engage in different activities that coincide with their Bible lesson for the day.
PACKLand (1st-4th grade) meets during the worship service. Our elementary children have a time of worship, engage in the Bible lesson together, and break off into smaller age groups for activities and application.
SAFETY IS ALSO A PRIORITY FOR US HERE AT PAC
We believe each child should be cared for in a nurturing and loving environment. For this reason, each child is checked into our children’s area using the KidCheck child check-in system when they arrive and checked out by their guardians. Each volunteer is also screened and has a background check on file. We also adhere to a well-child policy for our children’s area, making sure we are doing our best to provide a healthy environment for kids to learn.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.”
